Working at painting this weekend, and week.

I got sick this week. I'm still getting over it, but the weekend I'm painting my Bretonnia knights finally. I could not find the decals so I have not been working on them. So Game Workshop sent me some. Later this coming week. I will paint my goblins and goblin king from the Hobbit Escape from goblin town. With The Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, etc. I do not like using the movies, or game workshop paint schemes, etc. I stay to Tolkien's descriptions. I just found out he wrote in a letter about the goblins he said they were sallow color. Like a pale yellow or light brown. So that's what my goblins will look like.

What I've been doing lately and 9th edition rummer

Ok sat month my hobby store closed I got a lot of figures and games I got about a 500 point army of ogres, got high elves from island of blood. Got one Terran alliance and the Star Wars Xwing game. This weekend went to the Hiton in town to a game covention called southern front. I got the goblin town that I ordered and got my figures that I had to get fixed as I was there. I met some good people one was this guy who has a company like blue table painting. I chatted to him for a while. I have thought of creating a business like blue table painting.
         I just found out there is a rumor of Warhammer 9th edition coming out in 2014. When I read that it made me mad because I have worked for years to create a wood elve army and a Skaven army. This summer I have been wanting to play the 6th editing and the 8th edition. But I can't drive to my game store, and no one wants meto drop me off. So I have not played the Skaven yet. Now there is a rummer of a new edition.

Dark elves or High Elves

Which one should I work on first? The High Elves or Dark Elves in Warhammer? I want to make a strong army with a lot of dragons. I have Island of Blood. I was thinking getting the starter kit for the dark elves for my birthday or the holidays. I like the dark elves because they are cruel, and they have a lot of female warriors, and monsters. I like the high elves because they remind me of the armies in The Fall of Gondolin by Tolkien and they have a lot of dragons. Which one would you like to see me to work on?

Summer days

       Since its summer I do not do a lot of painting. I have been trying to see if I can go to a store to play the games, but everybody is busy this summer no one will want to take me to the store to play the games. This really gets on my nerves. Maybe in the fall I will do more painting and playing the games. When it gets cooler outside thats when I will start painting again, or if a good thunderstorm is real close.  
       This week I will see if I can get the hobbit starter kit. The store has it for me because I order it. The store is closing so I might get more stuff.  I will paint the dwarfs the colors Tolkien said, and make hoods or hats for them out of green stuff. Speaking of the Hobbit after the new movie this holiday I will try to make a scary forest for my warhammer wood elves, like Mirkwoods. I have a question for my readers. Is there a game when you have massive armies from Star Wars such as a massive tabletop game?  I want to play battles in the clone wars, I have heard of Star Wars miniatures and X-Wing game.  

I bought the Dark Elves rule book last weekend

         I just bought the army book of the dark elves for warhamme last weekend but half of the pages fell out. So I need to swap it out. I have an army of wood elves and shaven, I want to work on the bretonnia army. I like the wood elves and the bretonnia armies because that is the way I have always vision fantasy worlds are. With knights slaying dragons rescuing damsels. And a forest with elves fairs in a magical forest. I like the Skaven because they remind me of the series of books called Redwall.
          Sorry I have not posted any army reports yet. I'm just having a hard time to get somebody to take me to the store so I can learn the games. also I want to play the 6th edition of Warhammer to play the wood elves like they were suppose to be played. I can not drive and everybody is busy at my house. It really frustrates me a lot.

Terrain projects I'm thinking about doing.

I'm thinking of getting more trees and make forest for a tabletop game. I have drilled a screw on a branch to a piece of wood. I'm going to make some big roots so I can have a dark forest for my wood elves.         I want to go to my store and play a game. But I can not get there and no one wants to take me to there. It is very annoying. So it may take me a while to have a battle report posted. Sorry about this it's very frustrating for me.

Firestorm Armada

I've looked over my rulebook and I like the look at the ships of the Terran Alliance. the battleship looks like the clone ship in the clone wars in Star Wars. http://www.spartangames.co.uk/products/firestorm-armada 

I got the rulebook to Firestorm Armada

I went to the hobby store yesterday and I bought the paperback rulebook to firestorm Armada. In the early 1990's we got a computer and my cousin loaded Wing Commander. Then I saw there is a new game made by the guy who made wing commander.  Here is the video http://youtube.com/watch?v=9pLYZg4J9Bc after seeing that video I wanted to find out if there were any tabletop games like that computer game. It looks like firestorm armada may be as close as the game.

You can see barbarian to the Rohan knight. The barbican I used no outer coat and I used Tester paint. With the Rohan knight I used white spray paint and citadel paint.

Welcome to my Blog

      Hi my name is Cameron in 1990 I got the game Hero Quest and the two expansion packs. I was very little back then so over time a lot of the cards, figures, etc became missing or broken. Then somebody in middle school told me in the mid 1990's about D&D. It sounded like Hero Quest to me. Then I started reading the books Redwall. Then The Lord of the Rings came out in the theater. I read the books and the Hobbit, and the Silmarillon and the history of middle earth.
        When I graduated in high school I bought Hero Quest again. Then I started painting the figures I used testers paint because that's the paint I knew. Then I saw some Rohan Knights so I got the starter set for the Two Towers in 2004.
         Then by 2007 I got into Warhammer. I like the Skaven because they remind me of Redwall. I also like the Wood elves army, and the Bretonnia. I have only been painting the figures. I hate putting the figures especially the metal or the dryads, or the old clanrats. Pretty soon I want to play the games. I want to play the sixth edition of Warhammer with the wood elves, and Bretonnia. And play the Skaven with the new edition. I will try to have tutorials of how I paint and when I play games I will give battle reports.
